Bluephoria is filling the air at The Venetian with the highly anticipated opening of the Blue Man Group. The avant-garde and extremely popular trio is now performing nightly in a venue built especially for them -- a 1760 seat state-of-the-art theatre, larger than their former Las Vegas theatre -- allowing the troupe to incorporate exciting and new elements into their show.

"We are excited to present Blue Man Group in a state of the art theatre which maximizes the experience," said Rob Goldstein, president and COO of The Venetian. "The Venetian will follow Blue Man with Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera in 2006 with another amazing theatre built specifically for that show."

"We are so excited at the prospect of performing in a theater specifically tailored to our needs," adds Blue Man co-founder, Chris Wink. "With The Venetian allowing our input throughout the entire process we were able to create an entirely new environment and add items to our show that we never thought possible. Now, even if you have seen the show in the past, the brand new elements make it an entirely original experience."
