No Reopen Date in Site for the Las Vegas Monorail

Managers of the troubled Las Vegas Monorail say they won't even hazard a guess as to when the system will re-open. The best-case scenario has the monorail opening in a few weeks. But with so many questions still unanswered, some engineers think this shutdown could go on for several months.

In Las Vegas, monorail engineers continue looking for the reason why a two-pound metal washer fell off a train; a mishap that came only a week after a 60-pound wheel assembly crashed to the ground.
