Vegas Police Drag Woman Out of Casino (with Video)
(Sep. 1) -- Las Vegas is in the national spotlight again and this time it's not positive. Video has come out of police dragging a handcuffed woman though a local casino. That arrest is the basis for a lawsuit claiming police brutality. Eyewitness News was first to report this story last week.
The incident happened at Palace Station. Now, the story and the tape have gone national -- leaving some to wonder if this police brutality case is going to give Las Vegas another black eye.
Eyewitness News viewers were the first to see the disturbing images of 55-year-old Paula Sadoff in handcuffs being dragged through the casino by police last September. But on ABC's Good Morning America Wednesday, the rest of the nation saw the pictures and heard her side of the story as well.
Paula Sadoff said, "They took me and slammed me against the police car and slammed me down on the cement and cracked my knee in half."
