Get ready for the sporting event heard around the world with the first, live, international telecast from Las Vegas of the FullTiltPoker.Net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. On July 13th, FSN, FullTiltPoker.Net and Wynn Las Vegas will make history with a sporting event rivaling the biggest of the biggest international sporting spectaculars with an all-star cast. Beginning live at 3:00 PST on Wed., July 13, 2005 and airing simultaneously in the U.S., UK, New Zealand, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Holland, and Denmark, this is a one of a kind, international, mega gaming event.

Held at the night club La Bete at Wynn Las Vegas, the tournament features Team Full Tilt, the biggest rounders in the game, playing for a $500,000 cash pool and other prizes. Scheduled to appear in the tournament are 2000 World Series of Poker champion Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, WSOP bracelet winners Phil Ivey, John Juanda, Erik Seidel, Jennifer Harman, 2003 World Poker Tour Ladies Night winner Clonie Gowen, plus poker pros Phil Gordon, Andy Bloch, Erick Lindgren, Doyle Brunson, Annie Duke, and Phil Hellmuth. Also, 2004 Card Player Magazine Player of the Year Daniel Negreanu, Poker Ambassador to Wynn Las Vegas joins the fray. FSN veteran announcer Barry Tompkins calls the action, and poker pro Howard "The Professor" Lederer provides commentary.

[ Gotta love the ultra-hyperbole in these press releases dontcha? Seriously, the WLV is great, but their poker digs are just plain puny and provide zero privacy to the super high-limit games. - Ed ]
