ālon: Coming Soonish
ālon, the forthcoming resort from Andrew Pascal (CEO of ālon leisure, CEO of Playstudios - the folks who make My Vegas Facebook thing - and former Wynn COO, current nephew of Elaine Wynn), James Packer (Crown Resorts Limited) and Oak Tree Capital, has updated their website.

From what I've heard, this place is definitely worth the wait...
Yes, but why must everything right require so much patience??
Coming Soon (ish)
With 2017 on the horizon, they've cut bait on the Opening 2018 tag line.
It is very amusing that they're poking a little fun at all the rumors that the project has been hosed.
The responsive (works on mobile devices) website appears to be running Drupal CMS, with JQuery. Branding nerds may find a little intrigue in the absence of the ā with the macron in the title tag. An oversight? Or perhaps the ā is logo feature, and not correct spelling.

Comments & Discussion:
The Alon project is not delayed, it's DEAD. Ask around. They released their vendors. Their architect going bankrupt. Dozens of people laid off. What becomes of all the senior people who have signed on? Sad to see.
@stuffingravy i'm curious what the source of your information is. I talk to the alon folks every month or so and if anything they seem really excited about unleashing the project. not sure if I can buy any of what you're selling without a little more background information.
The rumor that they've fired their architecture/design firm, leading to large layoffs, seems fairly easy to verify....
I talked to Ālon folks last week and they're still there working.
