The Cosmopolitan has launched the 2.0 version of their website.... their first major upgrade since launching the original website on June 28th, 2010. The new website features a coupla major bugs. Here's one:

Here's another... when you type in CosmopolitanLasVegas.com, it redirects you to the staging domain of the host at CosmopolitanLasVegas.TravelClickHosting.com. Whoops.

The site now works seamlessly on mobile devices and retains all of the original Cosmopolitan logos, typography, branding and color scheme.

Check it out here! Big thanks to super birthday ferret Mac78130 for the tip.

Comments & Discussion:

I noticed the Lanai Suites are no longer listed. Are they being renovated or given only to high rollers now?

But the Bungalows, Two Bedroom City Suite, Executive and Murphy bed equipped "Reception Suite" is.

And the West End Penthouse too. Yummy.

Was there this weekend, while I didn't try the $20 thing, when I was checking in I mentioned how much I enjoyed the wraparound terrace room and was offered an upgrade to them for my entire stay for $250 (I was there Wed-Sun) so I couldn't pass it up. I noticed the new page when I was logging into the wifi on Friday. Rooms are still great and the Henry is one of the best kept secrets there. The Steak and Eggs at $38 is expensive but the steak is as good as $75-100 steaks elsewhere. Oh and if you want to try a good cocktail, the 63rd Chromosome is mighty good stuff.

Did they roll it back? I'm getting the old one still.

Remove the m.?

Mmm, could be. I was using an in-app browser and couldn't see the URL.

So they still have a separate mobile site they send iPad (Pro!) to that is the old design even though the new site is responsive? Weird.

Perhaps you are being bucketed? The legacy m.cosmopolitan mobile site is still active... no redirects. The new site is fully responsive. I suspect they're still mopping up.

Identity points checker: still broken. I don't think it's ever worked.

@Chuck all of those were on the old site too. Just the Lanai is missing, well that and the East Tower Penthouses.
