The Intrigue (And The Oontz) is Over at Wynn!
Late last night, Wynn Resorts announced that Intrigue is indeed a nightclub taking over the Tryst space on April 28th 2016.
The Twitter account we mentioned in the above linked post has also come to life, as has a placeholder IntrigueVegas.com website inside the Wynn Social thingamajig. :)
They even sent out a "save the date" marketing blast.
The logo implies "masquerade party." Tre joyeux! It is good to know that Louis XIV is alive and well at Wynn. Vive Le Fronce!
But now the real news here - Insiders have told VT that Intrigue will forego the DJ nightclub model for a broader based "live entertainment" model. Yes, you read that right - oontz is dead - insofar as Intrigue nightclub is concerned. Acrobats? Performers? Singer/songwriters? Vogueing? Satin jacket parades? Roses? Rabbits? Lies?
There will always and forever be poolside beer blasts and high priced disco dancing in Las Vegas, but the all-pervasive nightclub DJ EDM culture has lost a high profile venue at Wynn.
Thanks to DuLac55 for the eblast tip!

Comments & Discussion:
I was wondering if another resort would wise up on the Rose Rabbit Lie experience. Hopefully the club kids can be sophisticated enough to embrace it at Wynn. You never know with that vogueing crowd.
Anyone else find it intriguing that they're going to open it on Elaine's birthday?
@jh definitely intriguing. perhaps they see 4/28 as a rebirth in addition to the 11th anniversary of the property opening.
@JohnH: The date marks also the 11th anniversary of Wynn Las Vegas.
I really hope someone re-invents the nightlife in Las Vegas. I don't mind spending money as long as it is not to watch a bunch of drunk kids doing drugs while an idiot plays songs on his computer.
I don't normally consider myself OCD, but the middle I that is part of the mask is bothering me.
@ihatesnow You're not the only one. I'm reading it as Intr Gue.
