Sam Nazarian Withdraws Gaming License Application
VT reader Sam Nazarian has withdrawn his application to gain a gaming license as key employee of SLS Las Vegas.
The SBE CEO was fire walled from operations of SLS Las Vegas in January 2015 after an investigation into his suitability revealed shady business and personal relationships and a penchant for the - sniffy snif sniffff - Fun Dip.
SBE Entertainment sold their 10% share in SLS Las Vegas in October 2015. The company still operates Hyde ultralounge at Bellagio and Double Barrel restaurant at Monte Carlo.
We eagerly await sbe entertainment's press release spinning this as an opportunity for Sam to refocus his efforts planting news stories about a reverse merger of SBE and Morgans Hotel, whereby Sam - outed as extortion mark and coke user - ends up as CEO of a publicly traded company. I might buy shares in MHGC just to attend that shareholder meeting!
Big thanks to Tim Hundy for all the tip and none of the shaft.

ah Sam we hardly knew ye
"Sam - outed as extortion mark and coke user - ends up as CEO of a publicly traded company."
I think all of us already know that 90% of CEOs of any company (publically traded or otherwise) are already coke users. Sam just got caught.
