We're only 17 days away from the Vegas internet's biggest weekend of the year, the annual gathering of the tribes that we call the Vegas Internet Mafia Family Picnic. We've got three full days of shennanigans designed to bring extreme delight to your inner (and outer) Vegas nerd. We've got dining, drinking, gambling, fashion, loud music, technology, hysterics, debauchery, freak outs, collisions PLUS live podcasts from Vegas Gang, VegasTripping, Five Huuundy, Denton Dallas and Beyondcé, You Can Bet On That, and a magnificent history lesson from the legendary Dr. Dave.

I'm here today not for that, but for this - to talk about one event that we haven't talked much about, our very first casino table game tournament - the #VIMFP Hangover Casino Challenge Cup. Finally!

The #VIMFP Hangover Casino Challenge Cup is the opportunity for all VIMFPers to put their casino gaming skills to the test - in a head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head to head (yeah, that is 20 heads) competition while in a supremely damaged and hungover state from the previous night's after afterparty blow out.

Pain is in the name of this game. *knockknock* cup check.

20 players will compete aainst each other at Blackjack, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Holdem, with the winner taking home a pile of cash and the inaugural #VIMFP Hangover Casino Challenge Cup trophy.

The official rules with buy-in information, tournament format and everything else you could possibly need to know has been posted here.

Starting now, reservations for the #VIMFP Hangover Casino Challenge Cup are are being accepted.

Comments & Discussion:

Can two people play under one reservation? (e.g., I play Ultimate Texas Hold 'em, Mike plays Three Card Poker and Blackjack.)

Reservations are for one player. Time to bone up!

Actually that's good. I wouldn't trust Mike at the tables.

i definitely appreciate the image of the "cup." nice job, chuck.

^ I'm glad you got a snicker out of it. I did.
