Vegas Eats: Cheeseburger Cupcake at Harrah's Fulton Street Food Hall

I waddled from Casino Royale over to Harrah's in the hopes that I might find a cup of coffee or something equally toxic that might aid in boiling down the sea chicken & waffles, cheeseburgers, chicken rings, donuts and french fries currently sloshing around from side to side with each step.

Somewhere at the far end of the casino (mmmm oysters) beyond a phalanx of video poker machines I happened upon the Fulton Street Food Hall a new looking a la carte, chain free, dining area thingy with tons of options and food that looked... gulp... tasty!

Harrahs Fulton Street Sign

There is a bar with video poker machines that I'll guess have lousy odds.

Harrahs Fulton Street Bar

There is a pizza-by-the-slice joint!

Harrahs Fulton Street Pizza

A frozen yogurt dispensary with topping bar!

Harrahs Fulton Street Froyo

A sandwich case!

Harrahs Fulton Street Sandw

A sushi case and (not photographed) a noodle bar.

The salad bar looked so good, I took a selfie with it.

I found the cafe...

...and with it came the donut display. I put the dollar there to show you how big these goddamn things are. That one there has Golden Grahams on top of it!

Harrahs Fulton Street Donut

It took everything in me to keep from ordering one of those gigantic donuts.

Harrahs Fulton Street Pastries

Which is why, when faced with this massive pastry case, I surrendered when I saw the Cheeseburger Cupcake.

$3 bucks later, it was mine. We cozied up to a small table in a dark corner where I opened the burger box to find my Cheeseburger Cupcake, coyly winking at me from the bottom. "You're so cute. I just want to eat you up" I whispered into the box.

Fulton Street Cheeseburger Cupcake Inside

A big gorgeous medium rare burger with deep char crust, topped in crispy lettuce, mustard, ketchup, pickles, on top of a big and fluffy sesame seed bun. Oh yeah, Loveman. Ooooooohhh YEAH!

Fulton Street Cheeseburger Cupcake Side

It was a messy miracle of baking, with moist cupcake bun, food colored coconut, strawberries, kiwi and other doodads assembled into a dreamy Cheeseburger Cupcake. Stellar. I will be back for another.

I didn't keep the receipt, I'll guess the Cheeseburger Cupcake at Fulton Market Food Hall cost about $3.

Comments & Discussion:

Very well done! Everything there looks nicely displayed and well cared for. I dig it.

So was the "burger" basically a slice of a chocolate cupcake?

I love Chuck's food reviews and everything, but there's never any goddamn free samples! What the hell?!

Selfie? How often do you work at the salad bar?

DuLac - i think so.

Positively adorable!

Looks good. I will have to check this out

"Chain free" love it. The sandwich case looks awesome!
