If you're like me, you've probably got at least a half-dozen, rusty-stringed, case-less plywood starter guitars gathering dents and dust in a darkened corner of your gear vault. Why not put them to good use and trade them for one of the finest pieces of lake-front Las Vegas real estate there is.

I can't possibly see a reason how this deal goes wrong. Go get em guys! Trade My Las Vegas Timeshare For Guitar.

That is still $74 a night for living in up like the Golden Girls circa 1982. Yes, why stay at Bellagio, Aria, or Cosmo when you could stay in a builing that is more squat than the Cosmo's parking garage.

Also you have no guaranteed view of Bellagio. You might get to look at a grey wall the entire trip.

Still, I am sure someone will take this person up on it, probably not realizing that is $130 per quarter not total and that those assessment fees go up, sometimes a lot.

There was a really interesting article several years ago about the Jockey Club, can't remember if it was LVSun, NYTimes, or something like that. There are a few full time residents, and the owners got a pretty sweet deal with access to Cosmo pool, parking, and tennis courts supposedly. The place is basically stuck there until it crumbles because it's unfeasible to buy out all the owners. Jockey Club resales are the only timeshares I've ever seen that come somewhat close to making sense if I used it right, considering the location and access to Cosmo appeals to me. Still not quite worth it though.

What you are saying is correct. Every single resident both full and fractional would have to approve the sale. You know that some people won't simply out of spite. You could offer them $2,000,000 for a tiny studio that faces the Cosmo parking garage and they said no. As for being able to access Cosmo perks, I mean isn't that kind of embarrassing? I mean you have to walk I assume far just to get to the 1 pool you are allowed to use and I would assume are treated like welfare cases by the Cosmo.
