SLS, EB-5 Program Under Fire

The U.S. Government EB-5 program, designed to spur investment in domestic businesses by giving a temporary visa to investors in exchange for $500,000 is under fire for failing to thoroughly vet applicants.

Homeland Security whistleblowers are accusing the program of allowing individuals who wouldn't pass normal immigration background checks into the country.

The EB-5 program is responsible for the funding that completed the SLS Las Vegas, Downtown Grand and the forthcoming Resorts World Las Vegas.

SLS has been singled out as one of the projects where political pressure to expedite the visa application project may have accepted criminal investors into program, and put them on the path of holding a valid green card.

Majority funding for SLS project (via bankers J.P. Morgan) came perilously close to cancellation before the little known EB-5 project saved the day.

Big thanks to Vegas Person of the Year 2015 for the tweet tip.

Shitstorm Lies Scandal.....

The folks at SLS have the brown touch, everything they touch turns to shit.....

They're even getting lawsuits about the carpet, and have fired one back at Dean Martin's family trust in return:

Plenty of other details in that article about SLS, such as how their Foxtail club had 30 patrons on a Monday at midnight recently.

SBE doesn't seem to realize that just because you own the rights to photo doesn't mean you own the rights to use that persons likeness to promote your resort. The used Sammy Davis Jr. in their grand opening advertising campaign, I'm sure without permission.

I am just amazed it took this long to see through this program.

Gee, what a surprise....

Who would have guessed that selling green cards would result in corruption? Oh wait, anyone with an IQ over room temperature saw through this.
