Speaking of Neon, here's an incredible documentary about the construction of the iconic neon exterior signage of The Mint shot by Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO).

Where does an electric sign have it's beginning... let's find out.

How about that movie score!

That was such a beautiful neon sign, I've been hoping for years that The Mint name would return to Downtown Las Vegas.

If I ever win a big lottery jackpot, I'll buy Binion's and rename it the Mint....... I'm surprised that when MTR bought Binion's from Harrah's that they didn't opt to rename the place The Mint (assuming that the copyright on the name was dead).

Isn't there a nightclub call The Mint?

Heh. "Sidewalk superintendents" is code for gawkers. I love '50s narrators.

Boss.
