Yowsa.
Even the warm glow of the incandescent lights that used to ring many a facade and sign in Vegas has been replaced with LED or CFL bulbs that are contained within bulb-shaped housings that mimic the old shape.
I listened to the first 15 mins or so and will catch the rest later. Although Im not familiar of the voices of everyone...
Anywho, I think Rio was the last big resort to incorporate neon, no?
@vespajet - warm is right... better than a sun tanning booth.
This is great. Although I'm halfway through and no pastry references yet.
Loved it when Chuck said that the bright lights of Vegas during pre-dawn sends out a message that the town is still open for those who still want to take a chance on being extraordinary. Other tourist towns may be limited or closed during those hours. In my opinion, the 24 hour access to the opportunity is what the neon represented, and it was a quality that was, and still is, unique to Las Vegas.
Are the lines across Wynn not neon?
