Caesars Entertainment (CEC) announced Monday that one of their corporate shell companies (CEOC - holders of 44 casinos with Caesars, Horseshoe and Harrah's brands plus Total Rewards) has begun formal discussions with creditors about a prepackaged bankruptcy. Caesars Entertainment also announced that they expect to realize ~$300m in cost savings by laying off 1% of their 68,000 employees.

Gary Lurveman

According to Forbes magazine, Caesars CEO Gary Loveman is compensated $6.8 million dollars per year.

13,600 bottles of Smirnoff at forthcoming Omnia nightclub at Caesars every year
9327 fully loaded iPhone 6+ every year
17 fully loaded Lamborghini Aventadors every year
1 $4000 jar of Karat Caviar for every player in the NFL every year

Comments & Discussion:

The money would have been better spent giving everyone who walked into a Caesars property 400 bucks and a hearty handshake welcoming you to each property.

This is a guy that turned down Steve Wynn's partnership for a Macau gaming license because he didn't realize that the Chinese have a propensity to gamble! Unfrigginbelievable!
