Thoughts On The Linq Marquee
This is probably old news, but might still be worth discussion... the Linq Marquee is testing.

One thing that is immediately apparent is that the display quality doesn't hold a candle to some of the other new digital marquees on the Strip. ARIA's incredible display and the one atop Harmon corner shops make all others look like they belong outside of a casino in Jean - including Wynn's once incredible wipe n' swipe curved LED screen.

Alternate view. They've opened the sidewalk again so now you don't have to streak through The Quad.

Also worth peeping the entryway design and construction. Somewhat surprised they built this gigantic marquee right in front of a window and also blocking the view from the vortex deck as well. "When folks see our sign, they'll come inside, go upstairs to find out that their view is being blocked by our sign! Then they'll have to play our slots!"
Big thanks to VT reader Andreas for sharing his pix with us!

Comments & Discussion:
Looks like a Southwest Airlines wing
Or a candy cane on acid. I snapped some pics of the test during VIMP.
I'm guessing the DJ booth for the Vortex deck is inside the sign.
Good grief they actually did block what wouldve been one of the best views! Blinders for Caesers I guess...
I can get on someone's shoulders and get the same view.
I asked a few people that know about this sign and they told me the reason it looks crappy is because it's cheap.
The Aria sign cost $20M, Harmon Corner $15M and Linq sign was only $3M.
Even a $3 million phallus isn't exactly inexpensive.
The Linq is the nicest indian casino on the strip.
