New Feature Posted: The D Suite at The D
Just a quick note to those tuned in to the RSS and Twitter feeds that we've posted a new feature article to VT, Misnomer's review of The D Suites at The D. Yes folks, Misnomer wrote a hotel review, only as he can.
I had the opportunity to visit these suites over VIMFP weekend and was frankly blown away by what was inside. Modern design with classic sensibility... very masculine look and feel with a well planned layout, interesting decor and a very striking bathroom. Later in the evening I pinned The D owner Derek Stevens down to discuss this design when he told me that these rooms were designed by uber architectural firm Gensler. Fascinating.
So, here it is: The D Suite at The D : The VegasTripping Review 2013. Enjoy!

The place looks awesome even with the horse's head in the bed. Was this the Marley suite?
No room can be considered a top suite without an oversized jacuzzi tub. There are only a handful of rooms downtown that have separate tubs and showers. At the least, a property would need a great spa to partially make up for this deficiency.
I can't believe you guys posted something from Misnomer that was serious. I read his articles to laugh and can't take you seriously when he's not being funny or swarmy.
