Downtown Grand: The Casino Carpet
This is the casino carpet inside the Downtown Grand. It looks like a paint truck crashed into a chili cook-off.
Curious what you guys think about it.

Comments & Discussion:
I'll hold back my full opinion until I see the hotel in person, but as of now it seems kinda weird.
Your description is perfect. I don't know how it looks in a big area, but it seems blah to me. It needs to be kicked up a notch with some bolder reds.
I thought that was a close up of the rocky road ice cream I just ate.
The description "just ate" is very similar to what I was going to write here.
Lots of earth tones - something I'd find in Arizona I'd say, rather than DT Vegas
Since orange is my favorite color, I like it!
Gee, it appears that Auto Body Shop Floor has become more of "a thing" than Artisinal Nuts Butter.
Taco Bell toilet swirl art.
I like it - very original and has potential to coalesce well with other elements! Can't wait to see it in person!
My immediate reaction is "ew." However, I acknowledge it could look better in person.
My previous joke aside, it's about the perfect carpet for a casino. Dirt/mud, soda spills, booze spills, cigarette ash or even small rips in the carpet won't be as visible.
@anawas...that was going to be my comment...I don't think there's anything that could get on that carpet that won't simply become a part of the design...
It looks like a sunburst on acid; not that I ever dropped acid of course.
It looks a lot like either food or paint and not like a carpet at all.
That said it could look better in person... but from that picture it isn't particularly appealling.
Does it match the drapes?
