Meat Puppets At Beauty Bar November 27

The Beauty Bar announced yesterday that the mighty and amazing Meat Puppets will be performing the night before thanksgiving -Wednesday, November 27th.

The Meat Puppets are one of the greatest true indie rock bands of all time. They were tiny giants in the era when indie and alternative wasn't a genre, but instead of a catch all category for struggling musicians who made music that didn't fit in any of the other boxes.

They've had some good times - graduating to major labels, minor radio hits, lots of airplay on the original 120 Minutes, palling around with Nirvana - and severe bad times - horrid drug addiction, violence, jail terms and multiple band break ups.

The Meat Puppets have clawed their way back and are still an alternative to all the lousy alternative music out there. Are they punk? Are they country? Are they psychedelic? Are they hard core? They are the Meat Puppets!
