Peep Bally's Jubilee Tower Rooms

As announced during Caesars earnings call a month ago and spotted on The Board last week, Caesars has come out with post-emptive press release trumpeting Bally's renovation of the South Tower into the froshly named Bally's Jubilee Tower.

VT reader Funkhouser spotted some renderings on the Total Rewards website and pointed us to them. Thanks Funk!

New soft goods, new furniture AND new plumbing fixtures! The room appears to be pretty generic sand colored with lipstick accents behind the dual vanity mirrors, bed bolster and wallpaper.

The bed, with matching bolster and wall paper... the circle with the line through it = is the universal symbol for butt cracks. Trust me on this. The bed end bench looks like it is made of concrete.

The jacuzzi tub looks new. If I remember correctly from a stay in these rooms 10 years ago, behind the tub is a stand up, walk through steam shower.

The desk features the ubiquitous knock off Eames office chair and a large desk/dresser. Mounted on the wall above it... a familiar photo of Jubilee showgirls' derrieres.

We can mark the Jubilee tower renovation as non-flashy low cost room refresh. Your resort fees at work!

Ooooooh! I likey! While I would've loved it it they went in a more flashy/glaugy old school direction, I'm just happy to see some love towards what I always thought was vastly underused Stripfront real estate.

Really looking forward to this. Stayed in a South Tower room a few years ago with an awesome view of the Strip. It's about time they freshened up these rooms!

Yay! New porno tubs!! These rooms aren't to shabby. Ballys has a fab location but I've Nebr wanted to stay there because of its generic-ness BUUUUUT I might change that now and give it a shot. They do sell $1 tacos...

If the bedside bench is made of concrete, then the blanket looks like rice paper and the carpet *under* the bed looks like a bad matte job on a photo.

Jokes aside, I like the new rooms. Renderings on another (unnamed) site show a couch under the windows that look out onto the Strip -- and no porno tubs. I guess that setup will be the standard rate, with the big tubs being an upsell.

I do hope we'll get more than cosmetic bedroom changes. The bathrooms' fixtures and setup are not from this century and I wonder if the rooms will get WiFi.

Why would I want to jump in the tub and walk to the bed go the floor can get wet?

Ahh, rugs. That's a plus. And yeah, this looks like the Jr. Suite, or whatever they were calling it. The standard rooms won't have the jacuzzi/tub/whatever.

The south-facing rooms get my vote as best view in town, hands down, in the affordable room category.

I'm glad Caesars is finally catchin' on to how valuable Bally's could be if spruced up a little! Years ago when Park Place owned it, I would always stay at Bally's because of the location and the view from the South Tower.

I think these rooms used to have vaulted ceilings too. Eek. This is a big improvement. I'd like to get into one after the refresh, but before they're beat to hell again.
