The Nuge

As part of their commitment to bring every cultural icon of measurable size from Detroit to Las Vegas, The D has announced a temporary residency of the one and only Motor City Madman - Ted Nugent.

The Nuge's residency will run through the 2016 election cycle with one performance each year on the first Tuesday in November. Derek Stevens, owner of the D, promises that this will be the first in a series of Detroit related residencies which may include appearances by Iggy & The Stooges, MC5, Alice Cooper, Suzi Quatro, Mitch Ryder, The Meatmen and Marshall Crenshaw. The White Stripes are still broken up.

This kinda rips:

No MC5?

Any chance of Tommy Shaw, Jack Blades and Michael Cartellone showing up with the Nuge?

I don't know where in the hell you found that video Chuck, but that, sir, is priceless!!

It's been a while since I projectiled...my attitude.

What about Dianna Circone?

No love for Bob Seger or even the Silver Bullet Band???

No love for Kid Rock ?

I will never give the D a dime of my business as long as they are associated with Detroit's biggest douchebag and mental case. The D couldn't get Kid Rock or Bob Seger if their life depended on it. I really liked the D and the things that they are doing. I was a fan and I spent time there my last trip out. Employing a polarizing political figure (and sorry kids that what he turned himself in to) is not a good business move. Oh well...

^^ april fools, yo.

^^Still loved the video, yo.
