More On Aria Casino Renovations...
In response to last nights post about ARIA renovating parts of their casino, VT's resident architect/design nerd Blackjacker1979 sent us some thexy photos of their new casino chair upholstery and their Cosmopolitan purple table felts.

Wow. Vibrant. The original felts were deep red, those were replaced by felts that were advertisements for restaurants and shows at the resort and those have been replaced by these psychedelic Barney purple felts that will surely make Cosmopolitan blush. Looks like the employee uniforms could use a refresh too... how about all black?

Yes... definitely Pottery Barn. But with the old carpeting. Neato.

These are definitely reupholstered, not new chairs. Sad broken chair is broken and sad.
Looks good... now turn the lights down!
Big thanks to Blackjacker1979 for sharing the pix!

Check change a thou!
Those weren't my chips. I swear.
Also of note, the backs of said chairs are recycled glass beads. Sparkly but rough as sandpaper. Oh and there will be new employee uniforms as well that will be...purple and black. They should be on tap for soon now that the carpet is down.
Hopefully there's no truth to the rumor then that you were playing purples to complement the felt? On an h17 table no less?
Gave Aria a quick walking through today. I totally approve of the new carpet and chairs. And yes, turn the lights back down!
I thought last night's photos looked good, but uhm, this is starting to look like the Miami Vice side of the Reno Peppermill if it began taking itself seriously.
^ thats funny!
Isn't MGM Grand going through a similar renovation? How is that going along?
