Confirmed: Gordon Ramsay Gastro Pub To Replace Bradley Ogden
Chef Gordon Ramsay, fresh off the opening of his self-titled steak house at Paris Las Vegas, is on the precipice of ousting Bradley Ogden for a Gordon Ramsay Gastro Pub at Caesars Palace. The news of a Ramsay takeover of Bradley Ogden has been rolling around the rumor mill for quite some time, but we can now confirm that plans for the demolition and renovation of the space into a Gordon Ramsay Gastro Pub have been signed off by the chef's reps and Caesars Palace top brass.
The plans call for another casual Ramsay concept, equal parts dining room and equal parts bar separated down the middle by a gigantic wall of kegs eleven barrels high. The bar side will feature an open to the casino air patio, a smaller "Stripe Lounge" and two bar seating sections - "The Atlas Bar" and "Telephone Bar" featuring designs based on London's iconic red telephone booths. Total seating, including bar and dining rooms will be 292. Decor throughout the restaurant will follow some cues of the modern take on Mod-era British feel of Gordon Ramsay Steak with red white and blue racing stripes, gigantic wall graphics depicting the London skyline in the "Buckingham Room" and "Skyline Room" dining areas. Gordon Ramsay Gastro Pub will also offer a cozy secluded private dining experience in the "VIP Room."
The restaurant has been engineered by Thalden Boyd Emery Architects with interior design by EDG Design.
No timetable has been announced for the grand opening of Gordon Ramsay Gastro Pub, so keep your eyes peeled for the closure of Bradley Ogden and add six months.

hmmmm...will have to check this out when it opens and hit Bradley Ogden before it closes.
So, one of the nicest high-end restaurants in the company portfolio will be closed for a casual spot from a franchise chef who already has an outpost elsewhere.
This is like if MGM Grand shut down Joel Robuchon for another Batali place. Sure, you can't bitch too hard, but still...
According to a caller on this week's Five Hundy By Midnight, Bradley Odgen is closing in August, at least that what a bartender there told him.
This is a little unfortunately, but like everything in Vegas, things change. My wife and I had our reception dinner here 3 years ago after our wedding at the Bellagio. It was an amazing time and it will be missed.
I'll be very sad to see Ogden's go. It is a beautiful, yet comfortable restaurant. I've never been to a Ramsey resto, but I guarantee that Ogden was in the house a lot more than Ramsey ever will be.
I'll be sad to see Ogden's go, but have to say, that it's not a bad concept for that spot and Caesars in general. An open style bar in that section, should be kind of nice.
