Bing Gets Casino Property Maps Right
Time to toss all those property maps in the trash. Bing has upgraded their mapping capabilities to include the INTERIOR of many of your favorite casinos... and they're pretty damn accurate too.
I'm not exactly sure how the hell they do this, but they've got the details down pat with stuff that is closed or in transition greyed out. Tre bitchin!
Check out Wynn:

Check out Mirage:

Check out Bellagio:

Oh, so you can't win 'em all. This is certainly a huge step in the right direction... now if only the interior maps were available on a mobile device!

Flavors buffet is at Harrahs I think. Hmmm.
A little gelato on the way to the new Montana Bar - sweet!
Noodles & Co?!
Wow, I love Bing maps now! Check this out: If you use the "bird's eye view" option and zoom in on City Center you get three stages of it. Play around with rotating the view and zooming all the way in and you get various shots of the old Boardwalk and it's neighbors. Then shots of the neighbors turned into parking lots with the Boardwalk in the process of being demolished and finally just a big dirt field in the very beginning stages of the City Center construction. It's actually really cool. I would post screen shots if I could.
And same goes for Wynn and Encore/Desert Inn. I am getting nostalgic.
If the nice guys at Microsoft need someone to help them fine tune their maps I'll be glad to help them for a small fee (and drinks at the Montana Bar)
Wow, the arieal shots are hilariously out of date. I hope nobody wanted to know what the Cosmo or CityCenter look like...or Encore...
Um what the hell is New montana bar and kitchen?
It's a Point Break themed restaurant/bar. Clearly.
I can't wait to get drinks at Cosmopolitan's Doox and Stage.
It's cool it works on Windows Phone 7 too.
