Sayonara O'Sheas!

Earlier today, O'Sheas closed its doors forever an indeterminate time period as construction for Linq ramps up into high gear.

To commemorate the occasion, O'Sheas gave guests the opportunity to sign a portion of the wall which will be saved and installed in the new O'Sheas Linq location. There is no word as to whether the only Burger King on the strip will come back too. Love me those original Chicken Sandwiches.

Meanwhile, workers out back have been preparing the parking garage for demolition. A week ago, the interior pillars were wrapped in blast netting.

This weekend, the entire parking garage was wrapped in more of the stuff. An ounce of prevention keeps Caesars Inc from having to drain and refill a debris filled pool at the Flamingo.

O'Sheas parking garage will be imploded on Tuesday night at 2:30am.

Big thanks to VT tipster Randyvegas for the photo tips!

Looks like it's going to get blowed up real good......

It already looks better, can we do the same with the Excalibur?

sandy, I haven't even been home a week but I'd fly back across the U.S. just to see that!

Wish I could have stayed to watch it go down.

Remember my last trip in Aug, I went in and had a Redbull Vodka, and watched my friend play craps. Osheas will be missed for the time being.

I was there for the Sands when it was blown up in Atlantic City and it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. If a Vegas casino goes, I'm there for sure. But I don't think a parking garage is enough to get me to book the tickets. Especially a parking garage that I didn't even know existed.

Seems like a real waste to blow down a perfectly useable parking garage, but it aint my money.

I still want to know if anyone really parked there. When it blows up the souls of Billy Sol Hurock and Big Jim McBob will weep since it will blow up real goood.

I parked there once when I stayed at the Flamingo. Sort of dingy, and I got yelled by a cop at one morning for jaywalking that street, which I thought was an alley.
