Luxor Renovates Liquidity
It took Luxor four years to figure out what we did instantly... their sleek 2008 half-renovation of the casino floor had 3x 4x 5x the loving atmosphere of a porcupine hugging convention.

I call this design sensibility "Airport 3000." Now if only the floor changed color when you boogie-oogie-oogie on it. It looks great, but doesn't feel great... sorta like snuggling with Madonna.
To this end, they've begun to do some renovations. VT super reader Trevelbond (thank you!) sent us a photo of the entire Liquidity bar encased in construction wall. The exterior table games area already looks markedly brighter. Not that brighter is a good thing.... now you can really see that ugly ass carpeting.
Now, if only they'd finally get around to renovating those "trapped in 93" hotel rooms.

Comments & Discussion:
The bar itself is not bad. It's the lounge areas and sightlines that didn't work.
Bring back the talking camels!
Moving the furnitre out of those rooms would be a hurculean task..those armores are some heavy mothers..you can do a refurbish much easier in the East and West Towers..but the rooms in the Pyramid, given the way the building was designed, are going to a tough job for somebody to navigate..
