As we previously reported, the Bagatelle Beach & Nightclub is indeed coming to the Tropicana this summer. Bagatelle will be the Tropicana's third attempt to get into the night/day club scene, following the public demise of Nikki Beach.

This excerpt from the press release tells you everything you need to know...

Bagatelle has made its mark on New York, and most recently Los Angeles and St. Barth’s, with Champagne-fueled afternoons that transport guests to a Mediterranean oasis. In Las Vegas, the daytime Bagatelle Beach experience will offer daybeds for lounging, Mediterranean dining and a variety of other beachside activities including a bocce ball court and volleyball courts that can be transformed into a beach soccer field, all amid DJ sets and live entertainment. Additionally, the famous weekend “Bagatelle Brunch” that is one of the weekend’s most coveted reservations in New York, Los Angeles and St. Barth’s will launch immediately. Come nightfall, Bagatelle Beach will offer poolside dining, the occasional “dinner-and-a-movie,” and access to the new full-service indoor nightclub.

As we've said beforeM.a<, we're not sure if the Tropicana attracts the right clientele for to warrant operating douchey day and nightclubs. They're better off bagatelling the day club idea and market the place as a great fucking Vegas pool - for everybody to enjoy - "The Pool at The Tropicana."

Comments & Discussion:

Seriously at first glance I thought this said Baguette Nightclub. I was getting excited that it might be a nightclub that served sandwiches. Did they already give up on the RPM nightclub too????

At some point the management will understand the clientele that the Trop attracts isn't into the day club/trendy scene and yes, they will push the fact that the pool is more important than what is surrounding it. And where is the screen going to put up for the movies?

The renovated pool area at the Trop is beautiful. Iv'e seen a younger crowd there as of late, the value of the property appeals to the twentysomethings as well. The day clubs are such cash cows they have to keep trying until they get it right.

The pool area is quite impressive.

Management of this property is all over the place. At least they got ONE Group to foot the bill for this joke of an idea. In my opinion, without committing to make the property younger, this concept is totally misplaced. ONE Group is in WAY over their heads on this one.
