Hot on the heels of blackjacker1979's excellent feature review of the new Grand King at MGM Grand comes a set of somewhat lousy but still informative photos of the Executive Queen Suite variation on the same room courtesy of VT reader Paul.

Thanks Paul!

Nice bolsters!

Definitely a strange layout here. A TV facing the bed and another one facing the sofa crammed in the corner. In the Saturday afternoon hangover battle of SportsCenter vs The Real Housecunts of Beverly Hills... who wins? Nobody.

Love the floor-to-ceiling, jizz absorbent headboard.

Not so sure I can get behind the design of this. For some reason, seeing furniture jammed into a corners gives me an uneasy feeling, unless I'm in corner booth at a diner.

Welcome to the Grand Renovation!

This isn't a Grand Queen room; it is an Executive Queen Suite.

Noted. Thank you.

The site has added some photos and descriptions of the new suites. The Executive King Suite and Executive Queen Suite are the renovated Bungalow Suites. The Queen one has always had a less desireable layout than the King. I always tried to get a Bungalow King. Now that the room-dividing armoire has been removed, the room looks much better. The renovated Spa Suite also looks better to me. I don't think MGM had much to work with in the Executive Queen due to its odd floor plan. Repeating myself, I really like the new Executive King Suite.

Wow! I'm easily impressed. The other suite I liked was the Hollywood Suite. Only problem was, there are two at the end of each hallway, a long, long walk. The renovated version is called Tower 1-Bedroom Suite. Very nice!
