Follow Up: Wynn Tearing Up Casino Floor
It appears that Wynn's casino renovation amounted to little more than game re-rearrangement and - just as VT reader GregK pointed out - simple replacement of the carpet.
Looks like the carpet pattern has changed a little.

At least they try to make those huge games with the big screens look like they fit in with the property. Otherwise, the Wynn casino floor ends up looking like the Orleans.

Big thanks to VT Bat-tipster JakeZ for the follow up pix!

Comments & Discussion:
I love my rotating titles!
That carpet has to be pretty much the most vibrant in town. Nice to see that they aren't pulling a CET with deferred maintenance.
Agreed on CET's maintenance; oddly enough in 4 days when I leave for Vegas, though, I'll be at Caesars.
Mostly because I'd rather stay there than Wynncore. I think the customer service is actually better; my last two trips (Both Wynn) I had issues with housekeeping, and some drunk guy screaming in the hallway at 4AM, and was greeted with apathy.
It's funny, I paid to stay there (twice; figured I'd give them a second chance) instead of comp rooms in any CET property (even the Luv Tub @ IP. Ick.), because the girlfriend wanted to. Now, I don't think we'd even go into to property to gamble.
I'll take worn carpet and service than flowers, butterflies, and arrogance.
Good point on the new large slots, if there's one thing I noticed last trip is that Aria maybe the perfect property for those. The modern decor fits with them and the size of the floor makes them seem tiny in size. Kind of an amazing turn of events, but if they keep trending in that way and there is no reason I don't think they well, then Aria's floor might be the best suited to the new generation of slots.
