Here's a special treat. Fellow Vegas Gangster Dr. Dave has posted the first part of an amazing interview with legendary casino architect Paul Steelman. As some of you may know, Steelman is one of the original group of architects who worked with Steve Wynn during the Golden Nugget Atlantic City / Mirage / Beau Rivage era. Since then Steelman has gone on to design nearly every other casino built in the last twenty years including a majority of the second wave of Macau and Cotai casino complexes.

This is absolutely essential listening for each and every one of you.

Highlights include: freakin' everything... PMP.

Download the mp3 of the interview here (25MB) or grab it via iTunes.

Steelman? It's like a librarian being named bookman.

Never seen those Plaza interior renderings before. I don't know what to make of it, it looks good then there is always something in it that is off and wrong.
