Sayonara Columbia Sussex!
There's one less moron in Las Vegas: Columbia Sussex.
Today, the final nail in the Las Vegas coffin of Columbia Sussex was quietly hammered in place as the embattled company walked away from the Westin Casuarina as a result of foreclosure proceedings.
Some may remember Columbia Sussex for their disastrous term as owners of the Tropicana Las Vegas where they transformed a quaint yet aging property into an utter disaster of embarrassing proportions in a matter of months.
We prefer to remember Columbia Sussex as the boobs who called fellow Vegas Gangster Jeff Simpson names in a full page advertisement in the Las Vegas Sun.
Don't let the overhead compartment give you another black eye on the way out.

So long....fare well....well actually don't farewell...fare hideously and don't come back. You're as welcome as Illinois Nazis.
While I do enjoy reading Jeff's articles at ratevegas.com, and the adwas very tacky, I do like that they decided to stand up to the unions. This is coming from someone in a union, that for all intents and purposes steals $70 a month from me. And really the only real benefit is they will provide a lawyer IF I am involved in an incident.
^ please air your personal grievances elsewhere.
Clearly that upset you, but I was meerly commenting on the story posted? Am I not able to express an opinion here as everyone else?
Clearly I don't see the word "union" in any part of that article. And clearly the stance that you admire about that wasn't too successful.
Sahara - you should read the story in the second link. That's what Duffman was referring to.
