The San Remo will begin its transformation into the first Hooters Casino in about a month.

The rebranding process will require nine months, during which the signage, color scheme and theme will change. Hotel rooms will be remodeled, the Hooters restaurant will open, and the casino will be expanded.

The resort will close for about four weeks near the grand opening so the interior work can be completed. Hooters will be the seventh name on this property: Paradise, 20th Century, Treasury, Pacifica and Polynesian preceded the San Remo.
