Today's Photo Of Something That Doesn't Exist Anymore
This thing doesn't exist anymore, a damn shame since it sure is purty.

Who can tell me what this used to be and what is it now? If you think this is "too easy" then don't answer.

Tricky. This is an upside down dinner plate with a serving of bioluminescent squid from the now defunct Captain Stubing's restaurant at the Boardwalk Hotel Casino Resort.
Is it one of the porte cochere for Encore where the beach club is now?
^^ correct!
From that to the Beach Club. Sad.
I'm staying at Encore for the first time next month. Should I even waste my time?
This was honestly my favorite spot in the strip... that whole driveway surrounded with trees and flowers was a pretty grand entrance to a Vegas resort, I think aesthetically the space worked much better than the porte cocheres over at Wynn and the atrium was a real step up from that over at Wynn and even Bellagio to some degree.
Oh well. At least the place is making more money than it was before.
