Death To Dueling Pianos

Umpteen months ago, Encore added dueling pianos to Eastside lounge, filling up a semi relaxing bar area with the octavian sounds of Billy Joel's "My Life" every hour on the hour.

Could Wynn make this form of entertainment feel any more antiseptic?

Might we suggest something more like this?

Comments & Discussion:

Hey now, I like the piano bar at NYNY.

I thought Eastside became a high limit tables area, anyway?

Just curious - which bars do Vegas trippers like the most in Las Vegas and why?

They should sign Richard Cheese! That would be entertaining! ha ha ha!

mandarin bar- view is comparable to mix or foundation room, no cover, and their bartenders know their shit
nobhill tavern (i like to eat at the bar counter)- near the mansion, great drinks, great food
baccarat bar at the bellagio- cheapest hirsch reserve 16 y.o. on the strip

Could not agree more.....and the original two guys they hired were even worse than the video you show here! They were older and couldn't sing at all - so it seems they have now tried to get younger, better looking talent....but they are not even as good as the usual dueling piano players at downtown casinos, the ones I just saw at Palazzo, or other piano bars in suburbs I have been to! I am shocked that they ruined this lovely lounge with such an annoying, unoriginal form of entertainment without adding any special Wynn touch/twist to it at all. Hope it goes away soon.....so wrong for Encore....
