Surprise surprise... enterprising reporter armed with a petri dish finds traces of urine and other solids inside some of Las Vegas' party pools. Tell us something we didn't already know, with science, will ya?

Will the last person out of the pool, please don't forget to alert the media.

I guess Ed Hardy shirts decompose in water? Damn fine work child laborers!

I think where the problem lies is that the current use has exceeded its design use.It was probably designed as a Hotel swimming pool regarding flow rate, turnover rate and chemical dispensing. Its pollution load and type of activity more than likely puts it into a special catagory where the rates are different.I don't know the original intended design but can only guess. Thats where the reporters should go.Also health requirements are always based on the minimum allowable.Gross as they are the swimmer is more than likely protected .I would be more worried about the spas!

so the P-Ho is just pronounced "ho"?

twofours, I think that special pool category you speak of is "cesspool."
