Speaking of food pr0n, Bravo has announced the contestants on this seasons Top Chef: Just Desserts. The show features two chefs who work in the Las Vegas casinos we love and adore.

Chef Craig Poirer is a pastry chef at Palazzo's First Food & Bar.

Chef Carlos Enriquez is a pastry chef at Cosmopolitan's Holstiens burger joint. We're going to give Chef Carlos the edge here as Cosmopolitan exec honchos are all buddy pals with Top Chef judge Gail Simmons.

Top Chef Just Desserts second season kicks off on August 24 at 10pm on the Bravo.

Doritos!

Comments & Discussion:

I'm sure these guys are ok, but this is slightly confusing since there are numerous fine pastry chefs in Vegas and neither Holstein's or First Food are known for their desserts much less fine or innovative dishes.

good, successful pastry chefs are happy being pastry chefs and need not a tv game show to prove it.

Going to a burger joint for the pastry is like going to an adult movie theater for the popcorn.
