Trop Watch: Nikki Beach Opens Today!

In a smashing display of unity seen only at summer kick-offs in the Hamptons, homecoming weekend at the fraternity house, The Dinah Shore Invitational in Palm Springs, Klu Klux Klan rallies, religious services by the Moonies and Storm Trooper conventions, The Tropicana will celebrate the grand opening of their new Nikki Beach with a traditional "White Party."

A month ago, Nikki Beach was a construction zone.

For those who don't know, the concept of the "White Party" originated in the estates of Cape Cod and the Hamptons where society women would debut the summer seasons fashions they would wear between Memorial Day and Labor Day. This is where the "don't wear white after Labor Day unless you are Mr. Rourke or John Curtas" concept came into being.

Yet another piece of the Tropicana puzzle comes into place.
