Is This A Megadeth Slot Machine?
Argentina-based game developer Leander Games has announced a partnership with Megadeth in the hopes of bringing the pioneers of thrash metal to a slot floor or virtual casino near you.
The timing couldn't be any better. Unlike most of thrash metal's Big 4, Megadeth is - by far - at the absolute top of their game right now and I've been a fan since "Killing Is My Business... And Business is Good" came out in 1985. Frankly, I'm surprised that we don't see more music superstar branded slot machines out there, particularly with server based gaming making installation and execution as simple as five clicks of a mouse.
The only problem with doing a Megadeth game that features band member photos is that the band goes through lead guitarists and drummers on a nearly bi-annual basis.

That's a really good point - why don't we see more music-themed slots?
There are enough super-star acts with brands just as recognizable as many of the movie and TV themed slots we see.
So, if you lose your whole bankroll does the machine puke on you and snort a line of coke?
@RateVegas - Shelf lives of musicians/bands are totally unpredictable, so I can see why there aren't any more. Besides, why haven't we seen a KISS slot machine? Gene Simmons pimps out EVERYTHING Kiss-related.
I definitely like the idea of more music based slots, on a side note for server based gaming, isn't it funny that as they've tried to move to the model, there seems to be far more customization on the machines housing the branded games. It has to be a business decision to not want these under server based gaming.
I'd like the bonus rounds to be progressive like LOTR and Star Trek, where the symbols of guitarist and drummer change with each level you achieve.
It should only have Dave Mustaine on it and play the intro to Peace Sells every time it spins!
