The John Unwin Show: Season Premiere
On the season premiere of The John Unwin Show, Mr. Unwin is joined by a bunch of high speed chin wagging, crank snorting, chuckleheads from CNBC. They hold Unwin's feet to the fire re: Cosmopolitan's lack of high end play by raising the spectre of The Steve, but Unwin fights back with the trusty ol' "Three-Pronged Strategy." +15 points for not mentioning the words "curious class" once!
There is only one problem with Unwin's prongs tho... the casino behind him is undeniably empty. Glittering, but empty. God, I could go for a margarita right now.
Another great interview by Unwin. He's affable, intelligent and is media saavy enough to effortlessly sneak his talking points into the conversation instead of spraying hollow bullet points around like Machine Gun Murren.
In related news: word comes via The Board that the new VP of Hotel Operations at Cosmopolitan (who replaced the guy who was fired a month ago) has fired their Director of Housekeeping. Notice a trend here? We were right, their Hotel Ops wasn't ready for primetime.

The new VP of Hotel Operations at Cosmopolitan has fired their Director of Housekeeping, ehh? All I can say is: "Don't mess with the Chuckie Monster!!"

This interview took place at roughly 9:30am on a Tuesday morning. Find me any casino that's packed at 9:30am on a Tuesday!
