The Steve Wynn Show : Las Veganism Uncork'd

Steve Wynn Vegan

Famous Vegan icon - not a misspelling - Mr. Steve Wynn helped host a panel all about Veganism during this years Uncork'd culinary blowout sponsored by Bon Appetit magazine.

In his portion of the events, Mr. Wynn admits exactly what we've all been noticing - nearly everything he's doing these days is an attempt to capture his long faded youth.

Wynn regal[ed] the crowd about his road to veganism. Apparently, it all started "a year ago on my boat in St. Tropez" when he was inspired by "a handsome Indian gentlemen... who after a year was 30 lbs lighter and 15 years younger."

Mr. Wynn then proceeded to discuss how animal diets are "suicidal" and used the opportunity to boil his own blood over rising healthcare costs thanks to his arch nemesis - Obamacare.

Steve has always been megalomaniacal businessman laser focused and dedicated. Now he's starting to sound a little like that lunatic who fumbled the Mirage resorts ball while pursuing art collecting aspirations, opening the door to Kerkorian's takeover. Look at the photo... instead of palling around with the Chef (Tal Ronnen) who has transformed Wynn's vegan offerings, he's snugglemunching with actress-half-his-age Emily Deschanel... a mere days after getting married... did she get invited to the private event in the Cialis ballroom?

Quote and photo purloined from Eater.com, who have a full recap of the Steve's vegan soiree.

Comments & Discussion:

The more we see Wynn become unhinged the more he resembles Al Pacino's Bank character in Oceans 13.

I don't know who's the more annoying activist for veganism, Steve Wynn or Robin Quivers......

I'm all for people being vegetarians and vegans, means more steak for me!

"Snugglemunching" is my favorite new word. I cast my vote for Robin Quivers as most annoying vegan, but Wynn is a contender.

"There's nothing worse you can put in your body than meat," said Wynn, who receives routine injections of botulism in his face.

Does that mean SW Steakhouse will close and a Vegan restaurant will be open? Well, the way things are rapidly changing (for worse) at Wynn, I wouldn't be surprised he decides to close the steakhouse that has his name.

All of the restaurants at Wynn & Encore have vegan options on their menus.

I bet he'd pick at her Bones. Right? I mean you know, right? Bones, right?

^ shakes head......

Has he joined PETA yet? My local branch encourages eating meat. People who Eat Tasty Animals.
