Didn't I send you that link a week ago??? I applied for the card, we will see what I get

You certainly did. Slipped through the ether.

I'm just being an attention whore. I'm kind of interested to see what the perks are. They have some nice properties in L.A. don't they?

"Exclusive Access to a Wide Range of Hospitality and Lifestyle Experiences" is a bunch of meaningless PR bullspeak. This deal is about them getting access to each other's direct marketing databases, not about them providing any tangible new benefits to customers of either brand.

1. partner on sahara?

2. will sbe spend earn mlife points?
once that finally happens "later this year" ... great to see theyre spending time on this rather than that. i cant imagine this partnership is suddenly going to create huge revenue.

That fella's hair says, "Jimbo"!

List of perks is available if you sign in to your Mlife account and click the link named something like partner promotions/benefits. You can see the list before you give your information for the card. Doesn't seem too special. Via Google I found that they're offering some similar benefits to Starwood Preferred Guest members--even those at the basic level--through 2011. (Although Gold and Platinum SPG members get the added bonus of welcome cocktails at SBE restaurants.) The VIP phone number and email address for restaurant reservations is also publicly available.

Lurrrve it.

Just gives me another reason not to spend any money with MGM- Sam Navarian proved himself to be nothing more than a big talking blowhard when it comes to his "visions of excellence" in real estate developments in letting the Sahara dry rot until he gave up on it. Did he do even a single thing to improve the property? Del Webb, the Lowdens' and Bennett spent 55+ years building the hotel, and Sam the Sham destroyed it in only 3 1/2 years. I only wish MGM had insisted Sam turn over the hotel to them in the deal to let him buddy up in this deal.
