Wynn Gets First Community Slot Machine
Sources are telling us that Wynn Las Vegas has moved a gigantic American Idol community slot machine onto the casino floor. To my knowledge, this is the first time that Wynn has employed one of those massive community slot machines on any of their properties... no "Big Wheel of Fortune" or "eBay Slots."
I'm curious if the software has been updated to replace Simon with Randy, Paula and Cara with J-Lo and Randy with Punky Meadows(+15) Steven Tyler.
Here's a video of IGT's American Idol slot as presented in epic ass kissing glory by recent Idol loser Danny Gokey:

Comments & Discussion:
Saw this same machine at Bellagio this weekend.
they have one of these at mohegan sun. SUPER loud and annoying.
Hehe. Punky Meadows :P
The Seminoles put one in at Coconut Creek Casino. It lasted less than a month. The screen was so bright and distracting, and the sound so loud and offensive, it drove players away. Who dreams up this crap?
Was this a Marilyn Spiegel idea? Just what Wynn needs.
Wow, at Wynn, I can't believe it. After seeing the mammoth slot at Flamingo when I got there, my immediate thought was it's too big, and it's too much for an 8 person seat. The thing has to be 10 ft tall at least, if not 12. I'm shocked that they are putting it on the floor at Wynn.
Yes, they are loud and obnoxious but they sure seem to be popular to me. I was at the MGM Grand Detroit this past weekend and the Idol machines were full every time I walked by. The MGM Detroit has two banks of Idol machines against walls since they are so mammoth. I can't imagine them on the Wynn's floor.
I saw the one at Mohegan, and totally agree it is very loud and obnoxious. Just like some of the new clientele they are attracting at Encore these days.
I saw this at G2E and walked away. There's a similar Batman Dark Knight slot that looks way cooler, but is louder and probably more annoying.
Even I'm embarrassed for you Wynn fans. What next, moving NASCAR Cafe into Alex?
