The New Suites at Tropicana: Part Four - The Chairman Suite
In our first and second installments, we looked at a couple rooms that offer a pretty good bang for your buck. In our third, we got a rare glimpse into the one-of-a-kind Presidential Suite that definitely does not offer the same value. Today, we'll be examining the very top of Trop's suite product: the one and only (literally) Chairman Suite.
Located adjacent to the Presidential, the Chairman Suite is a totally inviting abode of excess.
The living room looking back towards the master bedroom. With an exception to Monte Carlo's Hotel32, the level of detail far surpasses the very top accommodations in hotels of the same class.

The dining room from the other end. Love the lighting behind the moldings in the ceiling.

You'll notice there's plenty of room to mingle - this suite was made for entertaining. Look at the massive bar and tell me if you disagree.

The guest bathroom.

My favorite area of the suite is the lounge that separates the master bedroom from the living areas. It's a comfy place to relax, close yourself off from both ends of the suite, and watch TV.

Here's the master bedroom looking out over MGM Grand's porte cochere... I think. I'm not sure, actually. Wait... no. Sorry, it's just those damn plantation shutters in the way again.

It's as if they knew all too well that cracks of sunlight always make their way through those window treatments. At least they provide you with sleeping masks. Cute.

The bathroom? Ridiculous.

The tub is decadent. If booked in one of these, be sure to pack the bubble bath.

The guest bedroom. It's appointments are no less luxurious.

In the guest bedroom's bath, we find that Trop was considerate enough to offer separation for less well-acquainted travel mates in a high roller's entourage.

A miniature version of the infamous tub.

The Chairman, like the Presidential, is reserved for high rollers exclusively. I'm sure there's a price tag for a nightly booking, but considering that they've only got one, expect that price to be extraordinarily inflated. Regardless, if I were averaging purple chips and getting my ass kissed at Luxor, I'd definitely cross the street and consider giving Trop's Chairman Suite a try. As a high roller accommodation, it definitely lives up to the expectations the rest of the resort renovations have set.
In our final installment, we'll be taking an exclusive look at the Island Tower Spa Suites. Keep your eyes peeled!

Comments & Discussion:
This one is cool but we toured the Island Spa, Grand Spa and executive suites last night before we left Vegas and they are a solid few notches above the Chairman Suite. Looking forward to your take on them.
Wow! Tropicana gets it. The Chairman Suite shows detail that defines luxury: recessed lighting in dropped ceiling moldings, contrasting tile/marble floor throughout, no expense spared in building the bar and curved ceiling above the bar, dual 15-pane sidelights separating the living room from the master bedroom. The Tropicana may wish it had more than one Chairman Suite to offer to high rollers. Very impressive tour. Thanks.
