Wynn Launches Poker Room App
Here's some neato. About a week or so ago, Wynn Las Vegas released an iPhone app all about their poker room.

The premise is simple... the app lists what games are currently in progress at the Wynn Poker room. Right now - 5am Vegas time on a Monday morning, there are three 1/3 NL Hold Em games being spread. If you are on property and you're looking for a game of Omaha, Hi-Lo, Stud, Horse or for any game that fits your bankroll, you won't need to run over to the poker room every hour or so to look at the board to see what's happening.
Yeah. It's pretty thin, but seems like it would be helpful service for poker players. Why they opted to not roll this information into the standard Wynn app is a little strange.
The universal iPhone/iPod/iPad app can be downloaded from iTunes app store here for free!

Comments & Discussion:
Cool, but an app like this won't be truly useful until you can a) actually use it to put your name on a list, and b) get buzzed when your seat is ready.
Wynn will already text you if you request it, if you sign up at the poker desk itself, so adding remote sign up shouldn't be an impossibility.
This is interesting. They were pretty stealthy about this being released.
Huh, well if Wynn Resorts keeps pumping out tech and it gets a little better each time, they might end up confounding my expectations.
