Two years after taking Harrah's Entertainment private, Apollo/Texas Pacific Group is making preparations to take take the Paulson Percentage public in the very near future.

Evidence arrives in the form of a job posting on Harrah's careers backbone for a Director Of Investor Relations.

The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive global investor relations program in compliance with corporate policies and securities regulations. The strategic importance of this role within Harrah’s has heightened as the company makes efforts to continually improve communications with the investor community. The Director of Investor Relations will report to the Treasurer.

Here's a screen grab, saved for posterity should it get yanked.

In semi-related Harrah's news, we've been hearing rumblings that the mothballed Octavius Tower at Caesars Palace will be fully awakening from its slumber in the first half of 2011.

Comments & Discussion:

I love Caesars Palace. I know it's a monolith of a hotel, but I think that's what I like most about it. In addition to their bitchin pool, spa, and comfy couches in Augustus Rooms
