Cosmo Sold Out On New Years Eve
Looking to spend New Years Eve at the newest resort on the Strip - Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas? Unless you're on the invited guest list, are one of Coldplay's road crew, work for Deutsche Bank or are willing to walk John Unwin's dogs, you can pretty much forget it.
According to their website (screen cap above) The Cosmopolitan is completely and totally sold out for their New Years Eve celebration / black tie grand opening party.
I believe the technical term is "yous assed out" or "fugghetaboutit" or "cosmobupkisapolitan" or "this ain't the first time I've talked my way into someone's back door"...unless someone at Cosmopolitan decides to hook us up with a NYE grand prize to give away. Like, hint.

Comments & Discussion:
Based on the concert announcement, it sounds like they were planning on using NYE as something of an invitation event. I'd be interested to know if a significant number of DB employees received free trips as part of their yearly bonuses. Marriott rewards members and travel industry insiders might have been heavily solicited to try out the new property. Also, I wonder how many rooms they will have open.
I have not seen anything yet from Marriott regarding NYE, or any other Cosmo-related offers. Nothing on their website regarding Cosmo, either. Looks like they haven't finalized the terms of whatever agreement they are negotiating.
