Those nutty folks over at Southwest Airlines have put out a trio of brand new Vegas-centric deals for those whose local airports are serviced by Southwest. The first of the three is a 'catch all' Vegas flight/hotel package available for any and all Vegas hotels - flight + 4 nights with $34/per person per night ($65/night double occupancy?). Here's the deal: Save up to $100 on Las Vegas packages! Flight + 4-night hotel packages starting at $34* per person, per night! Book 10/1 - 10/14..

The second deal is an even greater discount for flight/hotel package at any of Harrah's Las Vegas properties - Rio, Flamingo, Ballys, Bills, Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Harrah's Las Vegas. Check it: Book a flight + hotel package at any of the 9 Harrah's Entertainment properties and receive up to $125 in savings. Book 10/1 - 10/14.

The last of the three deals is a $125 savings on a flight / hotel package for Venetian or

Palazzo. Check it here: Save up to $125 on Venetian or Palazzo Las Vegas Packages! Book 10/1 - 10/14.

These Southwest deals usually pencil out for some great savings should you require a flight get to Vegas. The key is to double check hotel rates direct from the hotel website and flights from your locale to Las Vegas. Compare and contrast and blow the savings at the craps table!

Happy Tripping!

Comments & Discussion:

I may have to start seriously looking into these Southwest deals once they merge AirTran into the airline. While they're going to operate as two separate airlines for a time after the merger is completed, I'm sure these deals will be extended to AirTran as well.

Now only if Delta Vacations would step up and offer such good deals. I've priced vacation packages to Vegas through them and they were among the most expensive options and you're better off buying everything separately.

Southwest brought much lower prices to the Denver market. Their flights are often full but they bring humor and a personal style from the crews. They are a well run airline and usually make money in the hard times as well as the good times.

I've never seen Southwest Vacations offer Bill's as a hotel option. Any reason for this?

Probably because Bill's has less than 200 rooms.
