With recent reports revealing that downtown visitor volumes improved significantly in 2004, FSE is holding nothing back in the production in hopes the five new Viva Vision shows can carry the trend over into this year.

"[The shows] are unprecedented and ambitious for Fremont Street," says Lisa Robinson, FSE marketing director. "We are taking the lead with the entertainment experience to blow people away."

Unveiled in June last year, Viva Vision is the largest LED screen in the world, utilizing 12.5 million LED (light emitting device) modules able to produce top quality high definition digital video imagery on the downtown canopy stretching more than a quarter mile across and 90 feet above the Freemont Street pedestrian walkway. The screen cost $17 million and is accompanied by an audio system delivering 550,000 watts of concert quality sound.
