Mr. Chow Las Vegas Revealed
Peekaboo! Our ever industrious internet ferret Mac75745 managed to dig out four renderings of the Mr. Chow restaurant coming to CityCenter at some point.
Mr. Chow was originally slated to be part of the Harmon, which has been semi-permanently mothballed due to construction errors. Recently, we discovered that Mr. Chow would be replacing the Silk Road Cafe at Vdara in the next 12 months. Based on the height of the ceiling, we can guess that these renderings are for the Mr. Chow originally intended for the Harmon, not Vdara. Still interesting tho - I think these might be some of the only Harmon interior renderings that have yet to surface.

This space looks like a monument to a different era.

Mr. Chow's has lost much of it's celebrity luster of the past several years and really was never that great of a restaurant anyway. Given the financial constraints at MGM, I wouldn't be suprised if they just use the current Silk Road decor.
Seinfeld, Four!.......
That space is pretty good. I'd give it an A-.
On the other hand, the current Silk Road decor can barely muster a C.
I know I saw that fourth photo in some CityCenter video somewhere. This place must have had an entire floor at The Harmon. Total bummer.
nice looking room, although it's doomed to fail in that location. I'm not sure there is anything that might work in that space, outside of a big freezy bar thing of course the required guitar glasses would be required.
