Mirage Now Offering Skylofts Lite

If shady mortgage practices, a booming Dow, and low unemployment were still a staple of today's economy, I'm convinced that the top floors of every MGM property would be akin to Skylofts by now. In other words, from McCarran to check-in, you'd get your ass kissed more times than Watanabe on a Harrah's-provided Vicodin binge.

But brown-nosing of that level is expensive and if the lack of updates from Monte Carlo's Hotel32 is any indication, not a lucrative venture during these times. Still, MGM is making some efforts to go the extra mile for suite guests, and Mirage is the latest addition to their repertoire of faux high roller experiences.

Now Penthouse suites are afforded The Suite Life package with a variety of useful extras including round trip limo, wine and cheese, and VIP check-in. Plugging in some random dates, we see Penthouses running a little over $100 more per night than Tower Suites which share the exact same floor plan. Considering the limo, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages and finger foods in the VIP lounge, spa access, and non puke-inspired decor, we'd say it's a pretty good deal.
